MY MY MY what a weekend that was. Two days of Jim Haliburton in Walsall Darlston. This man looks after 600 tenants and he’s got a lot of everything to show for it.
I learnt a lot – I learnt how to do it, how not to do it and how Jim does it which is a mixture of the two. All of this is recounted in his two inch thick ring binder of notes entitled ‘A Guide to becoming a multimillionaire HMO Landlord’ (A guide written by an experienced HMO Landlord with more than 100 HMOs showing how he started and runs his HMO business for (better or for worse) that he gave us as a bonus. Lunch was free and accommodation was free so you get to experience what its like to be a tenant in his property for a night. This course is well worth the money! The ring binder alone goes into SO MUCH DETAIL of how to do everything from The Design of an HMO, Construction Methods, Sources of Materials, Costings, Fire Safety, Heating Systems, Tenants & The Eviction of Its amazing to see how much can be achieved by one person – The sheer mass of his portfolio, tenants and staff. This man buys in volume! In summary it was an experience and an education and I recommend it to anyone who wants to develop HMO as a strategy and who wants to feel what its really like to be an experienced landlord

I have just finished going through your workbook, ‘A Guide to Becoming A Multimillionaire HMO Landlord’, together with your Manual covering ‘DIY Eviction’. They cover the entire process in detail, offering helpful tips on vetting tenants through to insurance and planning law considerations. I have also found the practical suggestions helpful, such as the master key system.
The real life examples you have included make it particularly interesting and relevant to everyday senarios.
In short, it is the entire process in one workbook, a real A-Z of becoming (and importantly remaining!) an HMO landlord. Of particular value from a practical point of view is the copy forms, legal notices and documents that come with the DIY Eviction manual.

A superb course that clearly explains the ins and outs of the eviction process. Great value for money; for any landlord it’s worth every penny even if you just want to make sure your solicitor gets it right and doesn’t overcharge. The course is a must.

A real eye-opener ! Full of practical advice rather than vague theories and upsells to further courses. Includes visits to sites actually being converted into HMO’s. You can talk to the people actually doing the conversion and those managing them. The benefit of years of experience can be gained in days. De-mystified the court process.
